For the real ale buffs we are more than happy to take suggestions and for those who dabble we have provided a list of ales we enjoy ourselves and love to recommend.

really real ales

Enville Ales

This very pale straw coloured beer is brewed with 20% wheat and has a gentle hop aroma and a dry finish. It makes a very enjoyable and refreshing summer drink.

A traditional nineteenth century beekeepers ale, pale yellow with a fruity bitter and an initial sweetness progressing to a complex dry hoppy taste.

Greene King Brewery

A fresh, hoppy taste with a clean bitter finish.

Abbot Ale
Masses of fruit characters with a malty richness and superb hop balance.

Malvern Hills Brewery

Black Pear*
A premium beer, golden in colour with a combination of hops giving a pleasant bitter finish.

Feel Good*
A light frothy beer that lives up to its name, with a floral spicy aroma and good bittering quality.

Holdens Brewery

Golden Glow*
An 18ct golden ale with subtle yet fragrant hop aromas, a gentle but moreish sweetness and a pleasantly citrus like bitter finish.

Wye Valley Brewery

Butty Bach*
Welsh for ‘little friend’, this full-bodied smooth and satisfying premium ale is burnished gold in colour, and certainly has made a few friends in its time.

Hereford Pale Ale*
A truly delightful pale ale. Smooth on the palate with a citrus hop aroma leading to a balanced bitter finish.

Hobsons Brewery

Twisted Spire*
A unique beer with all-round appeal. A sweet floral aroma and initial fizz and sweetness gives way to a refreshing burst of hop flavour which lingers though to a crisp dry finish.

Town Crier*
Full flavoured golden ale with a big voice. This elegant straw coloured bitter has a hint of sweetness which is
complemented by subtle hop flavours leading to a dry finish.

Please note that some of the above bitters and ales are live beer and are required to be installed at least 3 days before the event in a secure place and cannot be moved. Please ensure this is acceptable with the venue upon consultation

* Denotes Bright Ales - A select few of our suppliers are able to provide us with ‘Bright’ beer that has been conditioned several times before it is delivered and can be installed at venue on the day of the event
